Ocean Trailer has an employment opportunity for a Transport Trailer Mechanic at our Nanaimo branch. Applicants must be safety conscious and dependable with a high degree of technical knowledge in servicing all makes of highway trailers.

Duties Include:

    Troubleshoot and repair (commercial) trailers
    Air & ABS braking systems
    Electrical, Axles, Wheels and Tires
    Disassemble, inspect and replace parts
    Inspection of trailers for CVIP's and new PDI's
    Trailer Chassis and frame straightening
    Suspension, including some welding
    Completing written work orders and associated paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
    Willing to work mobile truck when needed
