About H&L Transport Founded in 1987 H&L Transport Ltd has been proudly serving Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia for 26 years. H&L Transport became a subsidiary of Agrifoods International Cooperative Ltd. in June of 2011. Based out of Regina, SK. H&L Transport is strategically located of offer quick and efficient service to the Prairie Provinces. In November 2012 H&L expanded adding a second location in Edmonton, AB. We have partnered with the Penske group of companies to ensure that our fleet stays up to date, and is always well maintained in top condition. By utilizing Penske’s network and services we can ensure that our trucks/trailers will spend more time rolling with less down time. This means that your load is picked up and delivered on time, when you need it. Our uniformed professional drivers are committed to getting your load to its destination on time, every time. They are fully trained in the transportation of dangerous goods and will provide the care and attention needed to ensure our customers satisfaction. 80% of our fleet is currently tracked by GPS with the remainder slated for install by mid-2014. This allows H&L Transport to be able to locate your load quickly and accurately. These same units are outfitted with electronic log book consoles, ensuring that our drivers are safe while on the road. Our computer system allows us to monitor and correct driving behaviour making our drivers some of the safest and most environmentally friendly on the road. Our drivers participate in regular safety training to ensure that they have the knowledge and ability to handle any situation that may arise. From the transportation of dangerous goods, to safe driving or proper lifting techniques we do our best to ensure that our team is properly educated to keep everyone safe. As mentioned above, we have partnered with the Penske Group of Companies to ensure that our fleet is fully functional and ready to run. In the unfortunate event that there is a mechanical problem while on the road we know that Penske is only 1 call away. Our fleet is set up on a scheduled preventative maintenance program so that we can catch and prevent major mechanical issues before they become a problem.
